A fine framed series of stamps dealing with the history of medicine. A collection of 7 stamps uncirculated each mounted with a printed vignette describing the person or subject. Nicely matted and placed in a walnut wood frame. The subjects include Dr. Mary Walker, Medal of Honor winner and Civil War army surgeon, stamp on nursing, stamp on osteopathy, stamp on pharmacy, stamp on the Mayo brothers. Clara Maass and the leading stamp on the "The Doctors" done after a famous engraving of the same name.
